The Second Brain

Names: Cesar Galán y Lauren Murcia

Our second brain

It is the important to know about this organ called the intestin, because it has functions as the brain, and we don´t realize it´s importat. (importance)
The intestin have (has) a (NO) 100 millons of neurons and it conects (is connected) with (the) brain, for (throught the)vago nervius (parasympathetic).

In the school teach us (we have been taught) tnat (that) the brain have (has) this (these) functions but the truh is (that) the others organs segregate hormones.

In the intestine you can think (???) and feel causing that any manifestation or alteration in the mind is reflected in the instestine, ( . ) that (When) you eat ( , it ) has a reaction in your behavior ( , ) because the neurons of (the) intestine arrive to (the) brain.

We think that the brain rules our decision-making process ( , ) but it's pretty clear from operations like this that our guts have a very profound effect (???) on how we behave.

the (The) intestine is found in the parasympathetic systems and "90% of the serotonin we have in our body is in our gut".

Cani, P. D., & Knauf, C. (2016). How gut microbes talk to organs: The role of endocrine and nervous routes. Molecular Metabolism5(9), 743–752.

fun (Fun) factions:

we (We) have more than 100 trillion of microorganisms, bacterias, of which (????) a long part is in our intestine.

the (The) bacterias are very important (, ) because in the intestine we find several ecosystems of bacterias that fullfill a function in our emotions.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THE DANCE DISAPPEAR (?)

If the dance were lost, the world (would) be common and (wolud) lost (lose) happiness, history, culture and the mind of the humans are would square.(????) The life (Life) is (NO) would (be) boring and more people (would) feel depressed because in the currently use ( , ) the dance (would be) as (NO) a form of catharsis or form of (NO) solace. GLOBAL WARMING -. BY SERGIO SUAZA - DANIEL BENITEZ

GLOBAL WARMING

The global warming is the observation (????) brings over of that (NO) the atmosphere near to the surface of the planet is warming up, without any implication in what concerns the reason or magnitude.

the (The) glaciers are melting, the level of the sea increases, (are increasing) the jungles are drying off and the fauna and the flora fights to follow this pace. (???) Every time it is more evident than the human beings they (NO) have caused most of the warming of (the) last century, by means (because) of the gas emission that they (NO) retain the heat, to promote (???) our modern life. We are called are increasingly high greenhouse gases and his levels, now and in the last 65.000 years. (????)

*Main Causes Of (the) Global Warming

The principal cause It (NO) is the gas concentration that alterations provoke (???) in the climate as (like the) greenhouse gases which are a steam of water, carbon dioxide (CO2).

Other one of the reasons that contain the global warming they (NO) are given by the increase of the solar activity, and the water steam that provokes (causes) climatic cycles that cross the planet of (in a) transcendental form.

The CO2 is one of the major problems of the deforestation that contains the diverse forests. (???)

*what (What) are we trying to achieve?

Our principal aim is make (making the human population) aware to the human population (NO) of the gravity who (that) contains the global warming by (????) means of the increase of the temperature in the oceans and the atmosphere.

* Solution to the problem

Our intention is that every person puts of his part (does his/her bit) in basic acts.  as (For example,) so many harmful chemists stop using, (stop using a lot of harmful chemists,) synthesizing the use of the recycling and giving a good example to the following generations.

*With this video we transmit the knowledge of the high degree of gravity on global warming.

The nature in the Human being

Paula Cifuentes

Ana Maria Ovalle

Trought (Through) the centuries, we have realized that nature is the medium which the human  progresses and develops; ( . ) The human being has an hanit, (???) a context, that context is nature.

https://www.importancia.org/wp-content/uploads/ecologia-de-la/Naturaleza-3.jpg

Today ( , ) it is possible to affirm that the world and nature undergo constant changes in very (a lot of) possible aspect,(aspects) thus making  man constantly adapt to his envioronment, but clearly, with a goal such as the pursuit of growth, happiness, of (NO) confort, and therefore a (???) technology and continious innovation.

Man has tried to find and solve the most hidden mysteries of nature, but even to this day ( , ) he is far from finding them, since all nature itself is difficult to understand; ( . ) Scientists are still in the constant search to know we nature exists, (???) why we are a part of a solar system and a cosmos and why we exist according to the medium .

Trying to understand  nature thus  (???) understand  the existence of the human being is what we want to achive, to finally understand our purpose, (to understand our purpose finally,) our origin and wich (which) is the relationship between the human

The importance of the forensic medicine

The importance of the forensic medicine

The forensic medicine Is (is) one of the most well-known branches of this science, one that is concerned with determining elements (???) and data related to the state of a body after it has suffered some situation that caused its death.

https://www.google.com.co/search?q=medicina+forense&rlz=1C1PRFE_enCO629CO630&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi9z5mO3anVAhVKOiYKHZ6bCRwQ_AUICigB&biw=1600&bih=794#imgrc=E-EPrg_1n76NBM:

Thanks to medicine forense (forensic medicine,) we can analyze a body and be able to see not only the cause of death of this but also other elements ( , ) such as the approximate time in which such an event took place, the elements that were used to cause death, ( ; ) in addition ( , ) also (NO) We (we) can leave possible traces left by the murderer in the body or in the space where death took place.
Due to all of the above, the importance of forensic medicine is crucial in resolving different cases in which a person's death occurs. On many occasions, forensic examination takes place to determine whether the death was a homicide or not.

then (Then,) we will see a video in which we will talk a little on (about) the important (importance) of forensics (forensic) medicine, (in the) video we explained (explain) that the death of people must have an explanation, when death is something confusing and family shoul (should) know why which (NO) died.

ANIMAL ABUSE

Cruelty to animals is the treatment that causes suffering or harm to animals. The definition of unacceptable suffering varies. Some consider only suffering for simple cruelty to animals, while others include suffering inflicted for other reasons, such as meat production, skin procurement, animal experiments and egg industries.

Uno de los animales hacinados en las granjas de Schleswig-Holstein. EFE/ Igualdad Animal

Many people consider cruelty to animals as a matter of great moral importance. Animal cruelty is one of the components of the psychopathic triad along with pyromania and enuresis. A large percentage of psychopaths met these characteristics in their infancy.

Type of abuse:

Seclusion for commercial purposes especially in wild species. It is an abuse that we are accustomed because we see it every day in stores that do not always meet the established standards. This alters the country's ecosystem.
Remove them from their natural environment. It is an abuse of great magnitude, because it is very difficult for the wild species to adapt to new forms of life that usually respond to urban habits that have nothing to do with their daily life.

https://www.vice.com/es/article/bn48q8/puede-la-industria-de-la-moda-permitirse-esto

Do not provide adequate food and water: pets depend on us to survive. Skipping this step is also a form of abuse and many are unaware of it.
Leave the animal outdoors with cold, sun or rain: either in the yard of the house, locked in the car, or even on farms or nurseries with precarious conditions. Do not forget that they also suffer from cold and heat, that the rain bothers them and that many rays frighten them.

Knee injury!!!

Knee injuries are very common, as it is a complex, delicate, very mobile joint that is continually subjected to stress. It is one of the most injured in the world of sport, and the methods of diagnosis and treatment have evolved enormously over the years. Even so, they are still injuries with a very hard recovery, and it is normal to raise doubts about whether you can play again after a knee injury.

Practicing exercise after having suffered a knee injury in some cases can become complicated because of the injury itself, the lon
g recovery time, fear, insecurity, having suffered an operation and being afraid of a relapse ... There are many doubts that assail those who have gone through this bad drink.

The story of my life!!!

My knee injury occurred in 2015, when in a league game of bogota, against equidad seguros (I was playing in the Bogota Soccer League. It occurs in a match against "Equidad Seguros Soccer Team") where a black opponent hit my knee in the back where I left the blow resentful and that became an injury. Which had (I had)to be operated by surgery. (NO) I had (this) surgery on November 11, (they operated on my) femur distal right which was a very risky surgery ( , ) because I (it) was touching the main vein of the right leg, ( . ) this (This) surgery took 4 hours ( . ) which (I was) lasted hospitalized 2 days because I lost a lot of blood (and because o f that I) was very weak, ( . ) after (After,) the Surgery I had (to rest) a year and a half without playing soccer which gave me (was) very hard ( , ) because I was only in therapies and I was lame, which lasts a year and a half in recovery to play again football because (NO) nowadays (Nowadays) I play in the lower (divisions in) Independente santa fe. (Capital Letter)

History of injury

Traumatic injuries are usually caused by a combination of forces. The most frequent type of serious injuries are those caused by the deceleration, which cause important joint injuries and blunt trauma.
In sports where collisions between people (rugby, football, etc.) and high-speed sports (alpine skiing) occur, the rates of significant musculoskeletal injuries are much higher, since these impacts combine speed and Mass effect. Proper training for a specific sport reduces the risk of injury. The athlete must also learn to know how to fall and how to get up after a fall. Also, use a safe equipment.

Central Nervous System

The Nervous System is divided into two major parts, the Central Nervous System, and the Peripheral Nervous System. The Central Nervous System is made (make) up of the encephalon, and (the) spinal cord. They are protected by three membranes ( : ) dura mater (outer membrane), arachnoid (middle membrane), piamadre (internal membrane) generically called meninges. Also, the encephalon and spinal cord are protected by bony wraps, which are the skull and spine respectively.

DISEASES:

1.Epiliepsi: (Epilepsy) is produced by neurons hypersensitive. when (When) they have a bad contection (connection,) the person could have convulsions, loss of seizures, and uncontrolled muscles.

2.Tumors: the tumors affect a large part of the body, they can cause astrocytomas, glioblastomas, gliomas, meningiomas or medulloblastomas, among others.

3. Amytrophic later sclerosis: is the dieases that affects the cells.

we (We) think that central nervous system is important because Helps a person's motor and cognitive functions.(It) is a (an) element very careful (???) for the body

WHY GOOGLE IS SO IMPORTANT for everybody?

Juan Pablo Correal 1104
Camila Morales 1104

  1. -Do you know the origins of Google?
In 1997 Sergey Brin and Larry Page created the web browser most sought around the world, the platform begins to function (work) on the servers of Stanford University, where were they (they were) studying computer science.

Why Google is (was) called Google?

Sergey and larry (Larry) called it thaat (that) way because of a word game about "Googol", (that) describes a numerical amount: 10100. They realized that the pages of Googol grow exponentially day by day, but ended up calling it "Google" for a grammatical error.

So many people think that google is just the most important searsher, but it really count (counts) on (NO) with diferent (different) and interesting tools.

EPICONDILITIS

Epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow, is an injury characterized by pain on the outer side of the elbow, in the region of the epicondyle, bony eminence that is found on the lateral and external sides of the lower epiphysis of the humerus. It is caused by repetitive wrist extension and supination of the forearm, resulting in fibrillary micro-fractures and inadequate repair of the tendons of the muscles that originate in the epicondyle region, mainly the tendon of the short radial extensor carpal tendon.

Epicondyluslateralishumeri.pngwikipedia

What Causes Tennis Elbow?

Tennis elbow is a classic repetitive stress injury caused by overuse. Any activity that strains the muscles around the elbow over and over again can cause it. There’s also a version golfers get called “golfer’s elbow.”
In tennis, hitting a backhand puts some stress on your forearm muscles, which repeatedly contract when you hit the ball. If you have poor technique or grip the racquet too tightly, that stress may increase in the tendons that connect the forearm muscles to the elbow. The tendons may get small tears.

Also causes the raquete vibration due for not having the antivibrator and for bad use of the grip implying have thing the tornagrip; (???) for to prevent (preventing) this put several layers in the grip.↟

Wich (What is the) cure (for) the epicondiloitis?
First, apply ice for 48 hours after the injury. Then ( , ) put warm clothes in the affected area. Later one week can you retorn of (to)the (normal / daily) activities.

THEORY OF GENERAL RELATIVITY

Albert Einstein, in his theory of special reality, determined that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers, and he showed that the speed of light within a vacuum is the same ( , ) no matter the speed at which an observer travels. As a result, he found that space and time were interwoven into a single continuum known as space time. Events that occur at the same time for one observer could occur at different times for another.
take of"http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/theory-of-relativity"

What does "relative" mean?
The first principle listed above is pretty confusing.
What  does this mean? Well, before Albert Einstein, scientists thought that all motion occurred against a reference point called the "ether". Einstein claimed that the ether did not exist. He said that all motion was "relative". This meant that the measurement of motion depended on the relative velocity and position of the observer.

Giant iceberg splits from antartic!!!

This month, an iceberg of more than a trillion tons was detached from Antarctica.

The human being is turning the earth hotter  ( when ) burning fossil fuels and polluting the atmosphere with greenhouse gases. We're doing it and we're seeing the consequences.

The scientists say that this is not only the fault of us humans (NO) but it is also a process of the same nature.

one (Capital Letter: One) curious fact (says that) if this iceberg were to put next to Eiffel Tower (, it would) cover 2/3 of this tower with respect (according) to the height but no width.

We think that this is very important for the planet, people, animals and the ecosystems of the region as it increases the water level on every coast of the world ( , ) because this iceberg contains a lot of water in solid state (and) it will melt in a short time
